The Lexus Project:

One day I got it in my head that maybe I could somehow get my dad a Lexus.

Not buy one. I definitely did not have Lexus money…I just thought there had to be some creative way to make it happen, whether that was a partnership, helping with marketing, social media, literally anything.

I researched dealerships, came up with ideas, put together a proposal, and eventually walked in and pitched it.

Did it work? No…..

But I did get a callback. I got contacts. I had conversations I would’ve never had if I had decided it was unrealistic from the start.

The whole thing made me realize that a lot of opportunities die in people’s heads long before they ever fail in real life!

Sometimes, trying something slightly ridiculous teaches you more than doing something safe ever will.
